Established in April of 2013 in Somers, NY, The Burger Barn isn’t just about great burgers, it’s about the entire experience. Voted “Best Burger in Westchester County,” The Burger Barn offers an extensive variety of delicious burgers in an upscale, yet relaxed, environment. Whether you’re looking to eat out with friends, share a meal with coworkers, or simply enjoy a night out with your family, The Burger Barn is sure to satisfy.

The Burger Barn, which hand packs each of its half-pound Angus beef patties, offers close to 15 burgers, many with interesting combinations. The Burger Barn is known for its signature burger, the “John Hancock Burger,” which includes a half-pound beef burger topped with a fried egg and american cheese on a brioche bun. During my visit to The Burger Barn, I ordered the John Hancock Burger, and it was delicious. The burger was juicy, tasteful, and perfectly cooked; the bun was crispy, and the fried egg really topped it off. The restaurant also includes hand-cut fries on the side of every burger, which were fantastic. All of The Burger Barn’s food is plated in a creative way; the burgers, for example, are placed in an aluminum basket lined with “The Burger Barn Newspaper,” while the fries are placed in a colorful tin can. In addition to their wide selection of burgers, The Burger Barn also offers salads and sandwiches. The Burger Barn also caters to vegans and vegetarians, with options such as the turkey burger and the “#CLEAN EATS” veggie burger.

As is expected with a more upscale restaurant, the service at The Burger Barn is first-class. As soon as we walked into the restaurant, we were immediately greeted by a friendly and welcoming hostess, who walked us over to our table. Our server was both attentive and knowledgeable, and provided us with a summary of any item on the menu that we had questions about. He consistently checked on us throughout the night to make sure we were enjoying our food and didn’t need anything. Additionally, our plates were taken away as soon as we finished our meals.

Overall, I had a great experience at The Burger Barn; the burgers were mouthwatering and the service was attentive and friendly. The Burger Barn definitely lives up to its title as the “Best Burger in Westchester County.” I would highly recommend considering The Burger Barn the next time you go out for dinner- you won’t regret it!
