Blue Dolphin Ristorante, located on Katonah Avenue, is one of the most popular restaurants in Westchester County. Opened for twenty-eight years, the family-owned business continues to thrive by filling up their tables every Friday and Saturday evening. Despite the restaurant’s welcome sign that labels it Blue Dolphin Diner, it is definitely not your typical greasy-spoon diner. The small restaurant’s atmosphere is comfortable and quaint. It recently expanded due to their popularity, and added another room which has three more tables. The Blue Dolphin also has an outdoor seating area which is perfect for warm summer nights, or even cold ones since they have outdoor heaters.  The authentic diner completes its look with two boat-shaped benches in front to accommodate the guests who are waiting to be seated.  The extensive menu has a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options.  On their menu you will find homemade pasta, fresh seafood, sophisticated salads, specialty soups, and much more.  The service could not get friendlier, they are a family and they make you feel like you are part of it.  Dining at the Blue Dolphin on a weeknight is recommended because you are guaranteed to not be waiting long.  If you have not gone to the Blue Dolphin Diner in Katonah, you are missing out.  Although the twenty minute wait may seem like a turn off, it is well worth it in the end.
