The Office is Being Removed From Netflix
The saddest sentence a person could read. Goodbye to The Office. After years of watching and rewatching such a classic and entertaining show, Netflix has decided to remove it from its website. The reason? Unknown. The Office was never just a TV show, it became a religion. People from all over watch it just to laugh. To think that will all come to an end, seems like the end of an era.
The reason The Office is so important to so many people is because it took the everyday lives of average people and made them entertaining. It is such a relatable show because there is nothing special about any of the characters. Each character is an everyday person like you and me. The show focuses on a mediocre paper company in Scranton, PA run by branch manager Michael Scott. The show follows the employees through work and personal life crises that we all go through.
Some stars of the show include:
Michael Scott…played by Steve Carell
Dwight Schrute…played by Rainn Wilson
Jim Halpert…played by John Krasinski
Pam Beesly Halpert…played by Jenna Fischer
Andy Bernard…played by Ed Helms
Angela Martin…played by Angela Kinsey
And so many more.
The Office has made bad days better, even when they felt unfixable. It has become a fundamental component of American culture. Not only will Netflix’s removal take away my nightly routine of watching at least 5 episode before bed, it will mark the end of an era. Farewell The Office, you will be dearly missed.
