Recently the annual NFL playoffs have started up and so far it’s been nothing but exciting. Out of all the talented teams headliners,  Tom Brady and the Patriots along with Ezekiel Elliott and the Cowboys are favorites to win the superbowl. Heading into the second week of playoff football, the high quality matchups are considered the best contests of the year and will keep viewers on their toes.

The hottest team in the league right now is coming off a 6-0 run in the regular season. Led by future hall of famer Aaron Rodgers the Green Bay Packers are feared by every opponent in the postseason. After a historic win beating the red hot New York Giants, the Packers have made a name for themselves in the postseason. Aaron Rodgers, yet to throw an interception during their win streak, is the best quarterback in the league that no opposing defense wants to encounter.

Making historic strides in another way is the dynamic duo in Dallas. Rookies Dak Prescott (quarterback) and Ezekiel Elliott (running back) are setting a new standard in the NFL. Dak Prescott has reached a milestone, having the best rookie year as a quarterback, while Ezekiel Elliott has been outstanding, leading the regular season in rushing yards. The Cowboys have had an amazing regular season only losing twice to the New York Giants and finishing off 14-2.

Another powerhouse team in the postseason is the New England Patriots. The Patriots are led by arguably the best quarterback to ever play the game, Tom Brady. Despite losing Brady for the first 4 weeks of the season, the squad still managed to have the best record in the AFC along and earn the first playoff seed and a first round bye. This week, the Pats are faced with a stacked Houston Texans defense that will keep Brady aware at all times. Despite playing without their best player, JJ Watt, the New England offense has to lock down huge opposing threats like Vince Wilfork and Jadaveon Clowney.

Let’s see how all the teams play out this weekend, as this will be an action packed Sunday.
