On November 13th, twelve proud and excited seniors celebrated their commitment to playing a sport at a collegiate level. The twelve athletes completed a long and stressful process over the past year or more preparing for this moment. From all the camps and practices, they had to attend, bettering themselves to get that offer from the right college finally.
Brothers, sisters, grandparents, and especially parents were nothing but proud of their child at this moment. What a huge accomplishment! The transition from high school level sports to college level is not an easy one, but one they are all willing to take. Competing for an NCAA title is an extremely important role to take on and one that isn’t going to be without a tremendous amount of work and skill level. We as a John Jay community should be incredibly proud and applaud them for their hard work and dedication to the sport of their choice.
